It is important to create restore points after any significant changes have been made to the PC. In the aforementioned scenario, if restore points had been created to save the machine’s configuration after the relevant files had been created, then the computer could just revert to that point in time and instant troubleshooting could have been achieved.

System Restore and System Recovery are features available for Windows designed to resolve specific PC issues.
